Lifetouch Photography will be creating a photo directory for St. Thomas More. You can schedule an appointment online to have your family's photo taken. Photo sessions will be available from May 21st - May 25th and May 31st - June 1st during the weekdays from 1pm - 8pm and on Saturdays from 9am - 4pm.

Religious Education


Dear Parents & Guardians,

A big welcome goes out to our new and returning Religious Education students and families for the 2011-2012 program year. Thank you for enrolling your child in our dynamic program. We hope you and your family had a fun-filled summer.

Our program theme this year is "Do This in Memory of Me." Our focus will be on the Mass and the Sacrament of the Eucharist. The Eucharist is the source and summit of our Christian life. "Do This in Memory of Me" is also the theme of Catechetical Sunday, September 18th in which we honor and commission our catechists who have committed this year to passing on the faith to your child. Through this special theme and the assistance of religious educational materials, lessons, projects, and activities, you and your child will have the opportunity to grow deeper in your relationship with Jesus Christ and the Church.

Parents are part of our catechist team because you are your child's first catechist. As part of our team we need your assistance and support with the following:
  1. Have your child arrive on time to class
  2. Complete weekly homework or missed lessons
  3. Reinforce classroom lessons
  4. Discuss the Catholic faith on a regular basis
  5. Help your child know their prayers
  6. Share any special needs or situations that your child may have so accommodations can be made in the classroom
  7. Attend parent meetings
  8. Speak with your child's catechist periodically
  9. Notify R.E. office with any changes in address, email, phone number or family situation
  10. Most importantly, attend weekly Sunday Mass with your child!
