Youth Ministry

Middle School Youth:

The Middle School youth group gathers on a regular schedule, twice per month. Check the Bulletin for specific dates and times.

High School Youth:

Ablaze

Ablaze Catholic Youth Group is a high school youth group whose home-base is the Co-Cathedral of St. Thomas More, and is made up of youth from parishes all around Tallahassee. The group is open to any high school teen interested in experiencing the blessings of attending a Catholic youth group. Our mission is to deepen the spiritual lives of our youth through faith, fun, and fellowship in a Christ-centered environment. Our weekly meetings are filled with catechesis and powerful spiritual discussions. In addition to these gatherings, our youth participate in numerous retreats, conferences, and community service events such as assisting at local churches, helping Open Door Women's Clinic, and feeding the homeless. We also enjoy each other's company while playing games and talking about our daily lives. Above all, our goal is to help each other grow closer to God as we strive toward our common goal of Heaven.

Our activities include:
Weekly meetings (Sundays 4-6pm)
Bible studies (Summer)
Mission Trip (Aug 5-10)
Rock the Universe (Sept 6-9)
Diocesan Youth Conference (January)
Winter Retreat (February)
Diocesan Campout (April)
