Liturgical Ministry Application

Extraordinary Ministers of Holy Communion ◦Altar Servers ◦ Lectors ◦ Ushers/Greeters
Those desiring to serve in one of these liturgical ministries must:- Have received the sacraments of Baptism, Eucharist, and Confirmation. (Youths interested in being altar servers must be at least nine years old and have received their first Holy Communion. Youths and their parents jointly fill out a single application. Parents must meet all the requirements on the application.)
- Believe in the Real Presence of Christ in the Eucharist.
- Live a life of Christian faith and morals (charity, chastity, sobriety, etc.)
- Participate regularly in Sunday Mass at St. Thomas More.
- Be a registered parishioner at St. Thomas More for at least a year.
- Contribute in an identifiable way to the financial support of the parish.
- If married, be in a union recognized by the Church.
- CSU Students: Students applying for a liturgical ministry should be active members of the Catholic Student Union community, participating in events such as, but not limited to, Spirit Nights, retreats, and socials for a period of at least one semester.
Parishioners who meet the above requirements and prayerfully believe the Lord is calling them to serve his Church in this way are asked to complete this form and submit the form online. All applicants will be contacted after submitting this form.
